Local Bloggers on City Talk 55KRC Radio

A big shout out to Julie (Wine Me Dine Me), Kate (Kate’s Random Musings) and Susan (Working Moms Against Guilt). The trio of local bloggers appeared last Sunday on 55Krc’s City Talk radio program.  During the show the three represented Cincinnati Women Bloggers and spoke about blogging, the local blogging scene and things happening around the city.

You can check out the MP3 from the show on the City Talk site.

Happy Holi-daze

We want to thank everyone who came out to Pachinko last night to celebrate the holidays with us and with Cincinnati Imports. In addition to the good fun and conversation that was had, we raised $550 for the Welcome House in Covington! Shannan will be delivering the money to the non-profit later this week.

For more photos from the night, you can check out the Cincinnati Women Bloggers Facebook page.

It’s party time!

It’s that time of year again. The time when we gather for a little fun and holiday cheer while raising money for a worthy charity. It’s Happy Holi-daze Happy Hour time, and this year we’re bigger and better through our partnership with the awesome ladies of Cincinnati Imports.

So, here’s the scoop.

This year’s event is on Monday, December 14 starting at 6 p.m. at Pachinko in Covington. We suggest a $10 donation at the door, which will get you a drink ticket and some tasty treats.

All proceeds from the evening will go to the Welcome House of Northern Kentucky. The Welcome House “collaborates with the community to provide a continuum of quality services for individuals and families who are either homeless or at risk of becoming homeless to eradicate homelessness, foster stability and promote a just society.” Your donation and attendance on December 14 will help this wonderful organization fund essential services for those in our community who need it most this holiday season.

We can’t wait to see you there! Please RSVP on eventbrite, so we know how much food to make!
